Gibbs and Cox Employee Spotlight 



Elizabeth joined Gibbs & Cox, Inc in the summer of 2014 as a Configuration Manager supporting the Maritime Services Group and the PEO IWS DDG 51 Program. Prior to joining G&C, she worked in configuration management for 7 years on the DDG 51 New Construction Continuation effort beginning with the fiscal year 2010 baseline upgrade spanning through the 2013-17 Multi-Year Procurement. While at G&C, Elizabeth has partnered with fellow configuration manger, Rachel Coleman, to develop a change and documentation tracking system now used for all G&C combat system change products. She also supports the maintenance of the Configuration Control Baseline (CCBL) products and the Implementation Cycles to support both design and engineering teams at Gibbs & Cox. Elizabeth serves as a liaison between the design group in Newport News and the G&C Program Office as well as the Navy customers and sub-contractors. Her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration is from the University of Maine, her home state. She has been in the Chesapeake Bay area for one year and enjoyed her first winter without a snow shovel!
