Evan Lee

Naval Architect

This month’s employee spotlight is Evan Lee!

Evan joined Gibbs & Cox in August 2020 as a Naval Architect. Prior to working at G&C, Evan supported a variety of projects at BMT Designers and Planners in Arlington, Virginia, including stability work for the Tall Ship Providence on the Alexandria waterfront. He is a Michigan native and a freshwater man at his core; his first job after graduating in April of 2017 was with Bay Engineering, Inc. in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, where he conducted naval architecture work on Lake freighters, ATBs, icebreakers, 1000-footers, and even a riverboat casino. Despite leaving the Lakes, Evan is glad to be living in the DC area and he enjoys the history, hiking, skiing, camping, and boating opportunities offered by the region.

We are thrilled to have Evan as a part of our team!

“G&C continued to perform as a critical partner in correcting and updating the 3D model and functional engineering support.  On time, high quality products are a requirement from G&C so that our pre-production work package development and material procurement can occur as scheduled.  G&C has met this requirement even with our continued authorization of [new] work.”
