Tathiana Serrano

Configuration Engineer

Tathiana joined Gibbs & Cox in the fall of 2020, and she is excelling in her role as a configuration engineer supporting the DDG-51 program. Tathiana graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from East Carolina University in 2019 and, prior to joining G&C, gained valuable experience as a systems engineer, working for Newport News Shipbuilding (NNS). While at NNS, she assisted with risk management and knowledge management for the USS George Washington. She is new to the DC area and is very excited to explore the city and continue her hobbies of traveling, trying new foods, and playing tennis.

It has been a pleasure working with Gibbs and Cox. They were consistently responsive to our changing needs with this difficult project. Updates were frequent and accurate. I look forward to continuing to utilize Gibbs and Cox to assist us in future programs.
