  • Works independently (with moderate supervision), or on project teams
  • Develops and implements predictive analysis codes; builds and tests physical models; designs, develops and builds test and verification equipment; and develops, tests and integrates specialty materials
  • Works closely with engineers of other disciplines to optimize the integration of this technology on existing and future vessels
  • Specify test requirements and processing of test data for materials, components, and systems. Oversee testing and data reduction
  • Conduct trade studies for vessel features, materials, and processes
  • Guide suppliers in the development and procurement of new technology
  • Coordinate between various Integrated Product Teams, customer, and suppliers to integrate technology into our product line
  • Provide technical solutions to a wide range of complex difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, practicable, and consistent with organization objectives


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education in a Science, Technical, Engineering or Mathematics discipline
  • Must have US Secret Security Clearance
  • 5 years’ experience in electrical engineering or coursework in applied electro-physics is preferred
  • Excellent Process Management & Problem Solving Skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
