ENGINEERING MANAGER (10 YEARS) - WASHINGTON, DC


Overview:

Gibbs & Cox, Inc. is one of the nation’s leading independent naval architecture, marine engineering and design firms.  All positions require U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities:

The candidate shall provide Management of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, and Interoperability (C5I) and Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems support services to Warfare, Control and C5I Systems.   As the Engineering Manager, the candidate shall provide oversight for the following:

  • Warfare Systems Engineering

  • Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) Systems Engineering

  • Mission Systems Engineering for C5I Systems

  • Human Systems Integration (HSI) Engineering

  • Test and Evaluation Engineering

  • Cybersecurity Engineering

  • Interior Communication Engineering

  • Computer Aided Design and Engineering

  • Ship and Ship System Certification

Required Qualifications:

  • 10 or more years of experience in DOD/Navy program management, Industry or Government technical management or Industry or Government business management.

  • BS degree or higher in a relevant field from an accredited university (desired)

  • 5 years of more supervisory experience (desired)

  • 5 years or more with Navy Programs (desired)

  • Active DoD Secret security clearance required
