MARINE ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - ARLINGTON, VA

Responsibilities:

Works independently (with minimal supervision), or on project teams
Interfaces with client at peer level
Perform calculations applying electrical engineering principles, techniques, procedures and criteria
Prepare technical reports or other engineering documentation
Prepare technical purchase specifications for major electrical equipment
Develop test procedures to ensure equipment and system performance
Assist with shipboard automation, control, generation and power distribution systems testing

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education in Electrical Engineering
Proficiency in using industry-standard electrical system design and analysis software tools
Marine electrical shipbuilding experience with power generation, distribution and control systems
Automation and control systems test experience desirable
