SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER - ARLINGTON, VA

Responsibilities:

  • Project Manager for major program in company
  • Manages technical, cost and schedule of ongoing work 
  • Prepares cost estimates for project proposals
  • Serves as Company representative to client 
  • Prepares program progress reports as required to meet contract requirements 
  • Assigns budgets to technical groups, monitors progress, and approves release of products to clients 
  • Front line interface with client on all project matters  
  • Programs are in the multi-million $$ range  
  • Leads proposal development efforts 
  • Develops new business within current customer base 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent, MS or MBA desirable
  • At least 10 years of professional engineering or project management experience
  • Experience in managing ship design programs
  • Experience supporting US Navy ship programs
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
