JERRY PINKARD

Mr. Pinkard has over 30 years experience in the ship design industry, with service to the U.S. and foreign navies, commercial ship owners and operators, and ship builders and repairers. He has managed, guided and directed ship system designs from concept studies through life-cycle support engineering on all classes of U.S. Navy ships and craft, at the headquarters level down to ship repair facilities, as well as supported conversions and repairs to commercial ships and foreign navies. His knowledge of shipbuilder and operator needs adds the elements of efficiency of design and production cost savings to the design process. He is a Newport News Shipbuilding Apprentice School graduate, and attended Christopher Newport College.
