  • CADDS 5 (3-D product modeling)
  • Intergraph PDS (3-D product modeling)
  • Solidworks (3-D modeling)

Designers can be high school graduates, but frequently have advanced degrees from two-year trade or apprentice schools, or four year undergraduate degrees.  Typical two-year degree programs include:
